Cents-ability & Baby Food for the Storehouse

Next Sunday, October 1, is our monthly offering to support hunger relief and the collection of baby food for the Storehouse. Your spare change goes to Cents-Ability, a Presbyterian hunger relief ministry and the baby food goes to the Storehouse, a local food pantry.

Diapers for The Storehouse

 

The Storehouse stopped by recently to ask us to do special collection. They are in desperate need of diapers, particularly larger toddler sizes. Drop your donation in the collection box in Brayden Parlor. For more information on The Storehouse, please click here.

Project Share

Project Share – Volunteers help to prepare and serve a hot meal for St. Martin’s Hospitality Center Saturday, September 23 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Six to eight volunteers are needed to help with this outreach. Contact Mary Ann Campbell-Horan or Tom Horan if you can help.

Morningside Park Clean Up

Morningside Park Clean Up is next week. This is an opportunity for members to serve the Nob Hill community by cleaning up our neighborhood park. Meet after Coffee Mingle near the Silver Street entrance if you’d like to help.

Dismas House Dinner

Please join us Thursday, August 10 at 6:00 pm, as church members prepare a meal for Dismas House, a program for adults transitioning from jail or prison into society. Volunteers are needed to prepare a dish, and/or stay for the meal. For more information, please call the church office.
