Menaul School Open House

Menaul School invites us to an Open House this afternoon, 2-4 p.m., at 301 Menaul Blvd, NE. Menaul is affiliated with Presbyterians and has a long history of service in the area. For the first time in many years they have over 200 students on campus.

Children’s Monthly Outing

Basic CMYKThe children’s monthly outing will be a service project.  We will be cleaning the sanctuary hymnals and making bookmarks for them. Join us on Sunday, July 17 at 12:30.  A light lunch will follow at 2:30.

As we continue our “God Bless the Outsiders” series, we welcome today Gaetane Pierre-Louis, a native of Port Au Prince, Haiti, who has come to share first hand with us what it feels like to be a traveler in a new land. Gaetane graduated in May from UNM with a degree in Psychology.

Storehouse Volunteering July 2

Storehouse logo greenStorehouse volunteering is Saturday, July 2 from 8:45 until 1:00. The Storehouse is located at 106 Broadway Blvd. SE (Broadway and Central). There are a variety of tasks for all skill levels from bagging and sorting donated food items to taking customers through the store to get food. So please plan to join us. For those who want to, we’ll be visiting Epiphany Espresso afterwards.
