Children’s Events

The Parent’s Night Out & Kid’s Movie Night will be Friday, April 7 from 6-9 pm for children over the age of 5. We will be showing Moana. A suggested donation of $5 per child will help cover the cost. The Children’s Monthly Outing will be Saturday, April 8 at 12:30 p, to Ninja Park. We will return at 2 pm. A second adult is required to stay for the events as per our church policy. A sign-up sheet is in Immanuel Parlor.

Cents-ability & Baby Food for the Storehouse

Next Sunday, April 2 is our monthly offering to support hunger relief and collection of baby food for the Storehouse. Your spare change goes to Cents-Ability, a Presbyterian hunger relief ministry and the baby food goes to the Storehouse, a local food pantry.

Guest Preacher Rev. Rob Craig

We welcome Rev. Rob Craig as our guest preacher on the next two Sundays, March 26 and April 2. Rob is a member of Santa Fe Presbytery’s Commission on Ministry. He is honoredly retired, having served congregations in St. Louis, Albuquerque (St. Andrew), the New York Avenue Church in downtown D.C., and First Church of Columbus, Indiana. He has also been a faculty member at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and served as Executive Director at Ghost Ranch. Rev. Craig is currently an Albuquerque Police Chaplain. Please join us in welcoming him.

Project Share

Immanuel volunteers help to prepare and serve a hot meal for this St. Martin’s Service Saturday, March 25 from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. Six to eight volunteers are needed to help with this outreach. Contact the office if you’d like to help.

Teen Movie Night Postponed

Teen Movie Night for middle school or high school kids only that was scheduled for March 24th will be rescheduled for May. Please contact Brian Love if you have any questions.

Women’s Book Club

Join us on Saturday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. for food, fellowship and a discussion of two short books by Julie Otsuka: The Buddha in the Attic and When the Emperor Was Divine. Please call the office for more information.

Morningside Park Clean-Up

Morningside Park Clean Up is Sunday, March 12 after worship. This is an opportunity for members to serve the Nob Hill community by cleaning up our neighborhood park. Meet after Coffee Mingle near the Silver Street entrance if you’d like to help.

Presbyterian Women

Covenant Church invites all women to the Spring PW Gathering on March 25. Registration begins at 9:00, and will include lunch. Cost is $10. After lunch, they will also hold a program on Disaster Preparedness for Churches. Information and registration forms are in the reception area.
